Packaging Production Process

The Packaging Material Manufacturing Process involves following steps: Designing of Plastic Package, Prototype Making and Test lot Production, Package Integrity Stability Testing, CMM analysis, Residual Stress Analysis of Clear Plastic Packaging, Manufacture of Thermoforming Tools, Raw Material Testing and Process Control.

Advantages of Thermoforming over other Packaging manufacturing Methods

Thermoforming offers low tool cost and short project execution time when compared with other methods of plastic molding such as Injection Molding. The molds are relatively cheaper to make. Packaging with an ideal wall thickness can be made based on the product to be packaged.

We start working with our customers during a new product development or a current product improvement, to support them in packaging development. The design is made based on customer input, prototype samples are then used to validate the design. We also select the correct Plastic material required for the appication. We offers customers to test the concept packaging within matter of five days. Manufacturing of packaging is done using automated production line with integrated forming and trimming of parts. We are able to comply with the stringent GMP requirements of our customers from food and medical device industry. The dimentional tollerances of the finished good can match to international standards

Our Factory is very conveniently located besides the Chennai-Bangalore High way. The surroundings are very well maintained and clean and dust free. There is ample space for material handling and storage.We offer packaging solutions for all types of manufacturing industries and all our products are customized to suit the specific requirements. Customer inputs go into the 3D modeling software to design the packaging. Prototypes are made to validate the design.VMC is used for tool making. Tools are inspected against the 3 D model with conventional measurement as well as by CMM. Steel rule are the only replacement part of the cutting station dies.Tools are stored on specially designed racks and with regular maintenance, are useful as long the project is viable.

Production Machines that are GMP compliant - Small, Medium and Large scale Lines

Automated continuous process machines from Germany are used for production of packaging. These machines are designed for operating under stringent GMP requirements for food and medical device packaging. Raw materials are inspected upon arrival and labeled for traceability to the product made from it.

Finished goods are inspected for visual defects and dimensional variation.Polari scope inspections are done to check on molecular level stress areas in the formed polymer part. Every unit package of product delivered to the customer is identifiable with the traceability code.
