SHELF READY – PLASTIC DISPLAY PACKAGING

Due to its light weight and durability plastic is the most cost effective material to package consumer goods.  Lighter packaging means lower transportation cost for the packed goods. Colorfully printed plastic packaging has much higher shelf appeal. This will reduce excess packaging as the need of a label as in case of glass package is avoided. Reduced packaging material means less to be recycled.

LOW COST – RIGID PLASTIC PACKAGING

Cost is the prime consideration while designing and manufacturing packaging for consumer goods (FMCG), other than food. The ability of the package to enhance the appearance is very important too. Material and design are selected carefully, to avoid any over engineering and to optimize the usage of plastic per pack. Good quality recycled content is encouraged to reduce the impact of plastic on the environment. Since most of the packages are sealed against a blister card, features that improve sealing strength is given close attention during design of package.
